Deep Chand of Rajputana Rifles won the Men’s marathon at the Mawana Sugars Indian Open Marathon in a time of 2:22:33. The Women’s marathon was won by Shukanya Mall in 2:59:58. 2nd international marathon at Nagpur saw a reported 80,000 participants on the various runs on day (give or take a few tens of thousands ).
