Recent results from the Yokohama Women’s Marathon for elite runners are published below. The Yokohama Women’s Marathon is an annual marathon held in Yokohama, Japan. The marathon was first held in November, 2009 as a replacement for the Tokyo International Women’s Marathon which was held in Tokyo from 1979 until 2008 and got converted into this race after the Tokyo Marathon was introduced in 2007.

Nov 20, 2011. 3rd edition. Ryoko Kizaki of Japan won the first of the domestic Olympic qualifying races in a time of 2:26:32.

Yokohama Women’s Marathon 2010 Results

Nov 2010 event postponed to Feb, 2011. Making decisive surge at 39.3Km which left Marisa Barros and Remi Nakazato in her wake, Yoshimi Ozaki, won the second edition.
