Recent results from RAK Half Marathon for elite runners are published below. Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon is an annual event held in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. RAK Half Marathon was established in 2007 with Kenyan Sammy Wanjiru finishing the race faster than the then World Record time setting a new World Best for the half marathon distance.

Feb 15, 2013. Lucy Kabuu of Kenya with 1:06:09, the second fastest time in history, and her compatriot Geoffrey Kipsang in 58:54, took the winners’ spoils in the women’s and men’s races.

RAK Half Marathon 2012 Results
Feb 17, 2012. Mary Keitany once again proved her supremacy in the womens field winning in 1:06:42 to leave the other runners almost two and a half minutes behind at finish. None of the mens finishers managed to break the 1 hour mark unlike last year when we had three sub 60 finishers.

RAK Half Marathon 2011 Results
This run will be remembered for way Mary Keitany smashed the existing women’s half marathon world record, beating it by 35 seconds. She also set the 20K world record in the process. In the mens race, Deriba Merga showed he is in good form, with top 3 runners finishing sub 60.
