Results for 2012 London Olympics Men’s 4 x 400 meters Relay race are published below. USA’s Andrew Valmon, Quincy Watts, Butch Reynolds, Michael Johnson Stuttgart hold the World Record (2:54.29) in 4X400-meter relay in the year 1993 in Germany.
This year the highlights are Double amputee Oscar Pistorius who will make his Olympic debut. Pistorius will compete in the men’s 400 metres sprint and the 4x400m relay after he was included in the 125-member SA team. Willem de Beer, Ofentse Mogawane and Shaun de Jager are also included in the 4x400m relay team. Kenya will make a comeback to the 4x400m men’s relay after a 40-year-Olympic hiatus.
Team USA are the favorites here will all six members of the American 4x400m squad having broken 45 seconds for 400m this year. They are led by world leader LaShawn Merritt and the team also includes 2004 Olympic champion Jeremy Wariner. Jamaica’s team will feature national record-holder Jermaine Gonzales and national champion and sub-45 man Dane Hyatt.

It was a brave run from Miller from Bahamas who overtook Taylor from team USA in the final lap to take the gold medal for Bahamas. Team USA was a close second, with Trinidad & Tobago taking the bronze.
