Sep 23, 2012. The 13th edition had 1600 participants in the marathon who enjoyed beautiful autumn weather with sunshine and 11-13°C. Luka Chelimo bettered the existing course record by seven seconds.

Sep 18, 2011. Julius Rotich of Kenya won Sunday the 12th HC Andersen Marathon in time 2.17.13. It was the first time he ran the marathon. In the women russian Tatiana Vilisova won in time 2:35:41 in front of Jenifer Blizzard from England.

Kenyan runners dominated the men’s category by winning all the top five positions. Raymond K Kandie was the topper with 2:10:41. Sviatlana Kouhan finished the course in 2:33:18 to win the first position in women’s category.
