Firenze Marathon 2012 Results
Nov 25, 2012. Ethiopian Endeshaw Negesse Shumi broke the 2:10 barrier for the first time in his career to take the win at the 29th edition of the Firenze Marathon in 2:09:59. Ethiopia also dominated the women’s race where Shuru Diriba Dulume won at a canter in 2:30:08 with a margin of more than four minutes over Janat Hanane (2:34:21).

Firenze Marathon 2011 Results
Ethiopia claimed a winning sweep at the 28th Florence Marathon in both men’s and women’s races thanks to Berga Birhanu Bekele who crossed the finish line first in 2:09:52 ahead of Gela Hailu Seifu (2:10:17) and favourite Asha Gigi, who won the women’s race in 2:31:36.

Firenze Marathon 2010 Results
22 year-old Ethiopian Tadese Toles Aredia stopped the clock at 2:12:41 to win the men’s title. Firewot Dado from the same country won the women’s title in 2:28:58.
