Dalian International Marathon Race is one of the international standard Marathon races, held in Dalian, China. It is recognized by IRRA and China Athletic Association of Road Running Committee. Since the first Dalian International Marathon Race that thousands of persons participating was held in 1987, it has been successfully held for 25 times and was one of the oldest races in China. At present, it is one of the national large sports races combined the mass involvement with the competitiveness, connected the healthy persons with the disabled persons.

Registration
The entry fees is $30 for the marathon and $20 for the half marathon. To participate in Dalian International Marathon you can register in the official website.
Course / Route Map
Starting point: South Lake Street, Gold Coast, Golden Beach, Dalian → Jinshi Road → run along Liaohexi Road until reach at 21.0975 km point, that is the crossing of Liaohexi Road and Dongbeisi Street, facing the building of Japan Electronic Industry (DaLian) Co. Ltd. to the North, and Free Trade Zone Home Furnishings Market to the South, athletes return and run along Liaohexi Road back →Jinshi Road → finishing point: South Lake Street, Gold Coast.

I am from Canada and am here, in China, until the end of June. I wish to do a marathon while I am here and have been trying to get registered for the Dalian Marathon but can’t find a site which is current. I get the information for 2012, but not for 2013. Yet, the date is posted in other sites as April 2th. Also, there are a number of others from Canada who would like to do the half marathon. Can you please forward the registration site to me so that we might enter the race?
