Course / Route Map
The Teodoro Moscoso Bridge, is a salient feature of the course, being crossed in both directions by runners in the first half of the race. By adding cloverleaf turnarounds on either end of the bridge, a relatively flat, closed-loop course of almost exactly 10,000 meters is laid out. The perfect setting of a 2.5-kilometer bridge over the beautiful San José Lagoon, provides the unique feature of allowing the front-runners to be able to see the rear runners at least twice during the race.
