May 4, 2014. In the UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon Kenyan Sophy Jepchirchir shattered the event record with her 1:11:35, while Ethiopian Hebtamu Assefa won a close race in 1:02:44.

Pittsburgh Half Marathon 2013 Results

May 5, 2013. Julis Kogo of Kenya won the UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon. In the process of his victory, Kogo broke the half marathon course record, which was set last year with a time of 1:02:57. Risper Gesabwa of Kenya finished first among the female participants in the half marathon. The top two female finishers in the half had the second and third-fastest times in the race’s history.

May 6, 2012. The half-marathon saw new records in both the men’s and women’s results. Julius Koskei, of Kenya, won with a time of 1:02:57. Fatuma Sado of Ethiopia won the women’s half-marathon with a 1:12:43 time.
