The start is given on Route de la Pyramide and the finish area is placed on Avenue Daumesnil. This avenue is larger enough to have a maximum of comfort after have crossed the finish line. Traditionally rooted in the east of Paris, this event meanders along the avenues of the Bois de Vincennes wood, the boulevards and streets of the 12th arrondissement before entering the French capital’s city centre for a loop round the ‘Hôtel de Ville’ city hall.

The route, teeming with many musical events, enables spectators and participants to enjoy a wonderful moment discovering the monuments and districts of Paris. It is also relatively flat, allowing a significant number of runners to beat their personal bests. Every year, elite runners from Kenya or Ethiopia put in performances of international standard.

Time Limits and Cutoffs

Competitors will be permitted up to 2h 50min for completion of the course. After the “end of race” vehicle has passed, competitors should thereafter respect the Highway Code. Check points will be placed at the start, every 5km and at the finish, to control each competitor’s time.

There are 4 refreshment posts (kms 5, 10, 15 and finish) where 120,000 bottles of water and 25,000 beakers of energy drink are kept. Refreshment zones are located every 5 kms over the course. They have water, energy drinks (5km), bananas, apples, sugar, oranges and dried fruit.

Hi people.
I’m from Brazil and have lost the date to register. I’ll be in London just before the half marathon and will be in Paris a day before the event.
So, do you know any partner of the event in UK that maybe still have places available that I could buy?
If you know anyone who have registered and will not be able to go anymore, I could buy his registration also.

Thanks everyone.

Are you able to go in the semi marathon as a walker rather than run the whole thing?
