RAK Half Marathon

Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon is an annual event held in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. It was established in 2007 with Kenyan Sammy Wanjiru finishing the race faster than the then World Record time setting a new World Best for the half marathon distance. Since then, the event has been growing in popularity and has now become an IAAF Gold Label road race. Entry to the event is strictly limited to 2,500 places.

Registration

The entry fees is 150dhs for the half marathon if registered earlier. To participate in RAK Half Marathon you can register in the official website.

Course / Route Map

The course will start and finish at the same place just about opposite to the City Hotel and at the end of the Manar Mall car park next to the Carrefour sign. Then it passes through Al Muntasir Road, Mangrove Swamp, Police Officers Club, Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Al Qawasim Corniche Road, Al Nahda Street, Al Shuhada Roundabout, Mangrove Swamp Road, Ruler’s Palace, Khuzam Road, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Muhammed Al Qasimi Roundabout, RAK Hospital, Sultan Al Kabeer Road, Khuzam Road, Ruler’s Palace and Mangrove Road to head back to the finish line with a good final sprint.
