The Volkswagen Prague Marathon (originally known as the Prague International Marathon) originated in 1995 and has been on a fast track to international acclaim since then. Every year thousands of runners take part in this demanding and fast paced race.

Volkswagen Prague Marathon 2014 Results

May 11, 2014. Terer sliced 45 seconds off his personal-best to win the men’s title in 2 hours, 8 minutes and seven seconds, besting fellow Kenyan Evans Chebet by 10 seconds. In the women’s race, Dado took control of the women’s race just passed the halfway mark and then cruised to a nearly-four-minute victory in 2:23:34, just nine seconds off the personal-best.

Volkswagen Prague Marathon 2013 Results

May 12, 2013. Kenya’s Caroline Rotich continued her triumphant tour of spring with a dominant performance in the women’s race while Nicholas Kemboi of Qatar recovered from a late hiccup to drop his male competitors en route to victory in the men’s race at the 19th Volkswagen Prague International Marathon.

May 13, 2012. Deressa CHIMSA of Ethopia gave an explosive performance in Prague, leading both Stephen TUM and Philemon LIMO. He clocked the race in 2:06:25 time. Agnes KIPROP from Kenya won the women’s race in 2:25:41 time.
