Looking to join a 2012 Portland to Coast team. I am a walker and just completed the North Olympic Discovery Half-Marathon with an average pace of 16:22/mile. I am also in training for the 2012 Portland Marathon in October. Very serious about finding a team to join, or even possibly as a sub. if they have such a participant. I can e contacted at (503) 267-7787.
My name is Penney Hoodenpyle. I have walked the Portland to Coast nine times in the past. I am available to walk the race this year if a team needs a member replacement urgent/emergently. Currently I am walking a 17 minute mile. One consideration – “up” hills are slower for me. I am great with “down” the hill. I would prefer to be on a team where the members are doing three legs each. Thank you for thinking of me!
