Philadelphia Marathon is a sporting event hosted by the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The start of the race is at 22nd Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway, near the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The runners have the option to run half marathon and 8K along with the marathon. The course is sanctioned by USA Track & Field.

To participate in Philadelphia Marathon you can register in the official website. Early bird registration fees is $80 for the Marathon.

Course / Route Map

Running the course is the ultimate sweep through American history, from revolutionary times to the vibrant present day. From Betsy Ross’s house and the Liberty Bell, through gorgeous 19th century Fairmount Park, to the hip districts of University City and Manayunk, the engrossing and beautiful landmarks along the way add a unique flavor to the experience.

The finish will be open for 7 hours. All participants must maintain at least a 16-minute per mile pace throughout the course.
