Ogden Marathon takes place just below Red Rock Outfitters Ranch located 8 miles east of Huntsville on Highway 39 and finishes on Historic 25th Street in Ogden, UT, USA. More than 10,500 participants and an estimated 20,000 spectators will participate in the nationally recognized race and festivities. The Zions Bank Ogden Marathon has hosted runners from all 50 states and 13 countries. A health and fitness expo fills Ogden’s Historic Union Station. The Ogden Marathon is USATF certified and is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.

The lottery registration will open for the full and half marathon by 9:00 am MST on October 1, 2013, and remain open through October 10, 2013 at 11:59 pm, MST. There is NO fee to enter the lottery. Lottery registrants will be selected electronically after the lottery closes. Both selected and rejected applicants will be notified by email by 5:00 pm MST on October 15th, 2013.

Course / Route Map
The Marathon starts at just below Red Rock Outfitters Ranch located 8 miles east of Huntsville on Highway 39 and finishes on Historic 25th Street. As runners run the first half they will enjoy open roads, green fields and a beautiful gushing river. At the half way mark and start of the 1/2 Marathon runners are at an elevation of 5000ft. The last half of the Marathon is equally beautiful.
Runners will start the final half by running around Pineview Reservoir then drop into Ogden Canyon where they will run along the roaring Ogden River. Breathtaking views of pine covered slopes changing into steep rock faces will be encountered along with quaint homes nestled along the river’s edge. Exiting the canyon runners run onto the Ogden River Parkway for approximately 2 miles which will take them past Dinosaur Park and the Utah State University Botanical Gardens. The course ends downtown on Historic 25th street.

Time Limits & Cutoffs
- The Ogden Marathon has a time limit of 6 hours (1:00 pm).
- The race is timed using the Chronotrack D-Tag system.
