The New Jersey Marathon is an annual marathon that takes place in and around Long Branch, NJ. Over 10,000 participants have crossed the finish line from every corner of New Jersey, 40 states and 10 countries. The events includes a marathon, a half marathon, and a half marathon relay, three mile fun run/walk, a 1.2 mile “kids marathon” and various distances for children from 2-8. The New Jersey Marathon is a USAT&F-certified marathon.

Course / Route Map

The run goes through the diverse neighborhoods and business districts of the City, Long Branch, and into neighboring Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, Deal, Allenhurst, Loch Arbour, Asbury Park & Ocean Grove. The course is very popular with both runners and spectators alike, remaining fast and flat while adding some additional exciting oceanfront scenery. Start Location is in Monmouth Park, on Park Rd., at 175 Oceanport Ave., Oceanport, NJ 07757, across the street from central parking and the finish Location is on the Long Branch Ocean Promenade, north of Pier Village and the Ocean Place Resort & Spa.
