Naha Marathon is one of the premier sports events of Okinawa, Japan. This “Festival of Sun, Ocean and Joggers” started in 1985 as a commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the sister city bond between Naha and Honolulu. Each Marathon has provided a forum to promote ties and friendship for domestic and international interaction. The race attracts more than 25,000 runners every year.

To participate in Naha Marathon you can register in the official website.
Course / Route Map
The course, with The Peace Prayer and Memorial Park at its mid-point, is a full 42.195km long. The race starts and concludes at Ohnoyama Stadium at Asahibashi, the street at the crossing on route 58 just south of the capital city’s business district. The course heads the runners through Kokusai Street, Naha East Bypass, Gushichan Bridge, Gushikami Junction, Ryukyu Craft, Itoman city Office, Ahagon Crossing, Onoyama Park Station, Oroku Bypass and Yamashita Crossing to reach the finish point.
