Maratona Do Algarve held in Faro, Portugal is introduced as the first ever eco-marathon, promising to apply sustainable and environmentally friendly practice to all aspects of the race and its preparation. The organizers are proud that, with this attitude, they contribute to the preservation of Biodiversity, since Planet Earth is the greatest treasure to mankind and its maintenance is in our hands. After the arrival of the first finishers of the marathon, the organization will start the awards ceremony on the podium for the three top finishers of each category.

Registration

The entry fees is 50,00€ for early registrations. To participate in Maratona Do Algarve you can register in the official website.

Course / Route Map

The marathon takes place at Stadium “Estádio Municipal de Faro” as a two lap circuit race. The race starts and finishes at this stadium only.  The Half Marathon starts at the entrance of the Stadium. The Half Marathon is a one lap circuit,  that corresponds to the 2nd lap of the marathon course.
