Lanzhou International Marathon takes place in Dongfanghong Square in Lanzhou. It is a unique race run alongside China’s Mother River, the Yellow River — resonates with the theme of “Perpetual Pace” and the Marathon spirit. It is the most popular race in Northwest China.

 The first edition was held in 2011, involving 18750 participants from 16 countries and regions. A total of 40,606 contestants will run the 2014 events.

Entry fees for Foreign participants is $ 30 per person (or ¥190) and for Domestic (Including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions) participants the fees is 60 per person for marathon. To participate in Lanzhou International Marathon you can register in the official website.
