Lanzhou International Marathon takes place in Dongfanghong Square in Lanzhou. It is a unique race run alongside China’s Mother River, the Yellow River — resonates with the theme of “Perpetual Pace” and the Marathon spirit. It is the most popular race in Northwest China.

Entry fees for Foreign participants is $ 30 per person (or ¥190) and for Domestic (Including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions) participants the fees is 60 per person for marathon, ¥40 per person for Half Marathon and ¥20 per person for 10km and 5km. To participate in Lanzhou International Marathon you can register in the official website.

Course / Route Map


Lanzhou International Marathon Race starts at Dongfanghong Square in Lanzhou. Competitors will pass Zhongshan Iron Bridge (South), Yintan Wetland Park, Yantan Park and run back to Dongfanghong Square, covering a total distance of 42.195 kilometres
