Amity Kolkata Half Marathon initiated by Amity, Kolkata aims to raise donation and create awareness for educating the underpriviledgrd girl children. Amity, Kolkata salutes the spirit of Bengal for bringing THE AMITY KOLKATA HALF MARATHON – THE ROYAL BENGAL RUN.
It is a call for all the people to run for the pride of their own city, a run to let the world know that Kolkata has its own stature that has never died and will never die. It’s a run to reunite all those who deep down their hearts want to give back something to their own city perhaps just need the right cause.

Registration
You can Register Online though the event website or you can apply through a Physical registration form. A registration Amount of Rs. 150 for (The Race) & Rs. 100 for (Dream run) will be charged at the time of Goodie Bag collection.
Course / Route Map
The race starts from Mohammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata and goes touching Red Road, RR Avenue, King’s Way, and Strand Road.

I am eagerly waiting for the Amity half marathon and this is going to be my first marathon run so obviously am excited.

I am Neeraj from Gangtok, i registered online for the Kolkata Marathon 2013, few of my friends would be joining me for the Half Marathon, but the comments by Aditya leaves me feeling a little unsure. I thought AMITY was a good brand name and that they would not lend their name to a race managed so poorly. C’mon a 11K race calling it half marathon!!! I hope that this time things are better.
Kolkata is a great city, infact it is a world city. So lets have a world class marathon AMITY.
AMITY , you did a very bad job last time in organizing the race.
The half marathon was less than 11 k.
#Hundreds of people could not participate because the bib numbers were not distributed on time.
#Volunteers did not have any knowledge about the race or the way to manage it.
#People who completed the race did not recieve any medal or certificate.
#Poor Race Management.
#More of drama by calling officials and so called celebrities and less of race.
Please ,for the REPUTATION of our city can we have professional race organizers next time, for ex- Jamba Cloud ,Human Race etc. so that people coming from other cities and countries get the worth of their time ,energy and money.
