Standard Chartered KL Marathon hosted by the Kuala Lumpur city, Malaysia, continues as Malaysia’s flagship running event with top runners competing for Malaysia’s highest prize money pool. Runners representing 78 different nationalities and 35 countries worldwide will join the malaysian runners on race day. The event is making a conscious effort to help raise funds for many of Malaysia’s charities, so they can focus on what they do best - caring for and serving the less fortunate.

Registration

The entry fees is USD 45 for early bird registrations. To participate in Standard Chartered KL Marathon you can register in the official website. Full Marathon is capped at 3,000 participants.

Course / Route Map 

The start and finish point for all races in the marathon will be around Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. The course offers runners a truly unique opportunity to take in the sights of the city. Starting at Dataran Merdeka, the site of Malaysias independence, the marathon route weaves its way through the streets of Kuala Lumpur and showcases some of the most beautiful and historical landmarks in the city. These include the National Palace, the world renowned Petronas Twin Towers, the National Museum and the lush Lake Gardens. This route also showcases the cultural diversity of Malaysia as it passes through pockets of different communities.
