Hangzhou International Marathon is held on the basis of former West Lake Guihua International Marathon and Hangzhou West Lake International Friendship Marathon. It is an international level event recorded by Chinese Athletic Association, International Marathon and AIMS, one of the most important marathon events in China. The propaganda theme of the event is green recreational sports and emphasizing on the concept of national fitness.

Registration

To participate in Hangzhou International Marathon you can register in the official website. Early bird entry fees for Chinese is 40 RMB and for Foreigners 15 USD.

Course / Route Map

The race course is mainly along the picturesque West Lake, Tea Gardens andQiantang Scenic Area. It’s one of the most beautiful marathon courses in the world. The route goes as follows – Huanglong Road(turn left)→Shuguang Road→Baochu Road →Beishan Road →Shengtangjingqu Road→ Pedestrian Street on Hubin Road→Nanshan Road →Santaishan Road →Longjing Road →Meiling North Road→The Meiling tunnel→Meiling South Road → Zhijiang Road →Zhijiang Road(turn back)→Zhijiang Road → Qianchao Road→ Fuchun Road→South Square of Hangzhou Qianjiang Xincheng Citizen’s Center(destination).
