Fukuoka Marathon Championship, held in Fukuoka, Japan, is an international men’s marathon race established in 1947. Since then the race began to evolve and in 1954, foreign athletes were invited to participate, a first in the history of Japanese marathon running. It is usually held on the first Sunday in December. The event is organized by Japan Association of Athletics Federations.

The entry fees is ¥5,000-(Japanese yen). To participate in Fukuoka Marathon Championship you can register in the official website.
Course / Route Map 
The course of the event is sanctioned by JAAF. The race begins and concludes at Heiwadai Stadium. During the run the participants pass through Ohori Koen, Salon De Megami, Hakujyuji Hospital, Nishitetsu Store, Royal Host Hirao, Marushin Kinzokushokai, Inokuchi Foods, Nomura Garden City and Fukuoka Ginko Kyokai to reach the finishing point.
