Bonfield Express Turkey Trot is an annual event held in downtown Downers Grove, Illinois, on Thanksgiving morning to raise money and awareness to help build character and community commitment. The race is organized by Bonfield Express Foundation. This is a fast-growing local charity which hosts programs and provides scholarship assistance to high school seniors, building future community leaders. The events include a 5K Run and a 5K Walk.

Registration

The entry fees is $25 for early registrations. To participate in Bonfield Express Turkey Trot you can register in the official website.

Course / Route Map

The 5K race starts on Main Street in downtown Downers Grove.  It loops around the downtown area for the first mile before entering the beautiful, wooded neighborhood of Denburn Woods.  After exiting Denburn Woods, the course completes another small neighborhood loop before returning to downtown for the finish.  The course is USATF Certified.
