Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon is an annual running through the theme parks and entertainment districts of Florida’s Walt Disney World Resort, the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon is planned as a “runner’s night out” event that will be run in the evening rather than the daytime to avoid the Florida sunshine and heat this time of year, and will feature a food and wine festival at the finish line, at the park’s famed Epcot Center. The events bring thousands of visitors to Central Florida.

Registration
Early bird registration will costs $ 155 for the Half Marathon. You can register on the official website of Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon.
Course / Route Map
Start at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex running down Victory Way and then west on Osceola Parkway toward Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Make your way past the Tree of Life, Expedition Everes, Dinosaur and then race back to Osceola Parkway and head toward Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You will enter the park in the shadow of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™, run down Sunset Boulevard through Pixar Place, past Toy Story Mania!, then through the Costuming Tunnel in the Backlot on your way to Lights Motor Action! for your big debut! Race through the Streets of America, past Star Tours and Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular on your way to Epcot. The course will wind through the idyllic village of Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and lead you to a finish just outside of Epcot.

am looking forward to running in wine festival half marathon 2012 @ orlando fla seems to be difficult and confusing as when to register certainly do not want to miss registration when does registration begin??????? vparton@comcast.net

I also found it confusing as to when registration begins as well as the cost; fortunately I just received my Runners World magazine and there is an ad for the November (9-10) Wine & Dine half marathon and it states that registration begins on March 13th and fills quickly.
