Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon is an annual running through the theme parks and entertainment districts of Florida’s Walt Disney World Resort, held since 2010. The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon is planned as a “runner’s night out” event that will be run in the evening rather than the daytime to avoid the Florida sunshine and heat this time of year, and will feature a food and wine festival at the finish line, at the park’s famed Epcot Center. The events bring thousands of visitors to Central Florida.
Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5K and Disney Kids’ Races are also held along with this event. There were 12,147 finishers in the 2013 half marathon.
