Crescent City Classic 10K is New Orleans’ premier road race. The race is traditionally held Saturday before Easter. Starting in 1979 the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic has long been a New Orleans tradition and leading fitness event in Louisiana. Described as the original “party race,” the 10k is held on Saturday before Easter, attracts over 20,000 runners, walkers, and partiers each year.

Course / Route Map
This fast, point to point course is a USAT&F sanctioned and certified 10,000 meters. It starts in front of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Poydras St., proceeds down Poydras, bears left on S. Peters, continuing onto Decatur St, where it passes Historical Jackson Square. Participants run through the French Quarter, past Cafe Du Monde & the French Market, before taking a left on Esplanade Ave. The course continues down beautiful Esplanade to the front of New Orleans City Park on City Park Ave. The remainder of the course takes place in the park, passing by Storyland and the New Orleans Museum of Art, before finishing on Roosevelt Mall, exactly 6.2 miles from the start.

Prize Money & Awards
- Unique trophies and prize money will be given to the overall finishers.
- Limited edition Crescent City Classic race posters are given to the first 500 finishers.

All race participants receive a commemorative Race T-shirt and Medal for participating in the Classic.
Water Stops & Refreshments
- Water Stations will be placed at Mile Markers 1-5. All Water Stations will be available on both sides of the street.
