Cottonwood Classic 5K Run/Walk is held in Thornton, Colorado, US, at the Thorncreek Crossing Shopping Center at 120^th and Washington Street. This family friendly event has become a community favorite over the years and you can participate and find out why! Event is open to runners, race-walkers, and recreational walkers of all ages and ability levels. There is a special “Schools Division” for elementary school age children. And don’t be surprised if you set a personal record on this super flat course!

Registration

The pre-registration fees is $16 for ages 12 & under, $23 for ages 13-59 and $16 for ages 60 & older. To participate in Cottonwood Classic 5K you can register in the official website.

Course / Route Map

Start/finish line is at 12100 Washington Center Parkway (East of Thorncreek Shopping Center) and is very flat. The race course winds north to trail, west on trail to Washington St., north to 126th Ave., east to trail, north to 128th Ave.,  east to Claude Ct., south to driveway, west to trail and south to the finish line. Well behaved dogs are welcome and must be kept on leashes (4 foot or less) at all times. Strollers are also permitted.
