Course / Route Map
The course is fast and flat. Marathon runners and walkers will be running through Ohio Stadium! Participants will take the same entrance to the field as The Ohio State Buckeyes’ football team – through the ‘home tunnel,’ then they will travel along the south end of the field, and exit through the opposing team ramp. After the 1/2 Marathoners split off at High Street/Nationwide Boulevard, the Marathoners will continue north on High Street to Lane Avenue.
After exiting the stadium, participants will travel along the west side of Ohio Stadium on Cannon Drive, reconnect with Woody Hayes Drive, and head west toward Upper Arlington. This will create an area where participants pass one another in opposite directions on Woody Hayes Drive. Overall, the course offers a tour through the best parts of Columbus including Downtown, Bexley, Olde Town East, German Village, Short North, Ohio State, Upper Arlington, Grandview Heights, Victorian Village and the Arena District.
