Bangalore Ultra started in 2007 with 247 runners pounding the trail at Our Native Village (ONV) resort in Hessarghatta, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The race day is felt like a big family re-union with runners from different parts of the country and the world coming together to celebrate the joy, madness and the love called running. The participants can choose to run distances ranging from 12.5K – 100K. The route will take you through the lovely bamboo forest of Hennur. If the rain gods decide to pay a visit, the track will get extremely slushy. A good pair of shoe meant for trail running will help here.

Course / Route Map
The route will take you through the lovely bamboo forest of Hennur. Complete Trail – Yay! Hence, running on this route will be completely different from running on road. Note for 100K and 24 hour runners – in order to avoid running in the forest after dark, they will be diverted to a shorter route which will be all road. At most points, wide enough for 5 people to run abreast. Soft and not very rocky. This is good news for your knees but if there is rain it will be tough to handle. Undulating through the entire distance but it is so gradual that it is almost imperceptible. There are not too many steep uphills or downhills.
