RESON8TE is a Park City, Utah based company, developing lifestyle products and hi-tech sports gear. John Minahan, founder of RESON8TE partnered with Swarm, the design consultancy to develop the ELEV8TE and DV8 series. Swarm is a product design consultancy located in Salt Lake City, UT that designs cool products for interesting clients. It took two years for developing, testing, and refining this revolutionary product.
The Idea Behind The Product
This idea came to John Minahan while he was on the golf course. When he got stuck behind a slow group and was bored, he played music on his iPhone and stuffed it under the sweat band of his hat. Thus hats with speakers in the brim were born.
About ELEV8TE & DV8 Series Hats & Visors
ELEV8TE line- activewear running hats and visors and DV8 line- lifestyle flex fit hats and trucker hats have low profile, high quality speakers in the brim of their fashionable headwear. These speakers are virtually undetectable, and are driven by the external high powered mini-amplifier. The patented design offers a headphone quality audio experience.

Product Details
ELEV8TE Running Hat 
These are light weight hats made with Polyester fabric to absorb moisture and have reflective logo on the front side for safer evening activities.
ELEV8TE Running Visor 
These are light weight products made up of Taslan Nylon fabric which is fully breathable with reflective logo on the front side.
DV8 Flex Fit Hat 
Made up of Ripstop Cotton which is very durable, it has closed back for the fitted hat look. For the initial product run this hat will be a L-XL fit.
DV8 Trucker Hat 
This hat has a traditional 6 panel design- Front 2 panels are cotton twill, 4 panel mesh back.
AMP Mini Amplifier
With dimensions 64mm high x 36mm wide x 9mm thick, it can be charged with Standard USB cable. It has a Power on/off switch and its battery lasts for about 4-6 hours.
Connectors
Connectors on hats/visors – 3.5mm TRRS male connector. Connectors on AMP – 0.3m input with 3.5mm stereo male connector to plug into standard headphone jack. 1.3m output with 3.5mm TRRS female to connect to hat.
Availability
The running hat is available in white color and Running Visor, Flex Fit Hat and Trucker Hat are available in black color.
The Running Hat, Running Visor and Trucker Hats are “one size fits all”. They have adjustable straps on the back. Flex Fit Hat will be a Large/X-Large.
