Despite Smoke Running With The Bears Marathon Will Be Held On Aug. 18
Even through smoke, the Running with the Bears Marathon will be held this Saturday, Aug. 18. Unless the start line itself is on fire, the race will continue as planned. Mohammed Aman Wins In Stockholm
Mohammed Aman, the 18-year-old World Indoor champion from Ethiopia, pulled alongside Algeria’s Taoufik Makhloufi halfway down the final straightaway of the men’s 800 in Stockholm on Friday and came away with a victory in 1:43.56. Makhloufi, the London Olympic 1500-meter gold medalist, set a personal best of 1:43.71 in second place. More.
