Registration is now open for the 20th Annual TXU Energy Turkey Trot benefiting Sheltering Arms Senior Services, which takes place Thanksgiving morning and starts and ends at Dillard’s by the Galleria on Westheimer and Post Oak. Each year, Sheltering Arms uses the proceeds from the event to fund the many programs and services that it provides to more than 80,000 seniors and caregivers in the Greater Houston area, programs such as its state-of-the-art dementia day center, home care services and caregiver support groups. You can also fundraise or donate what you can to help Sheltering Arms meet its additional event goal of $50,000.
