Roxbury Marathon To Take Place On Dec. 8
Registration for both the Roxbury Marathon and Half Marathon will start at 12 a.m. Saturday, August 25, Eastern time, through an electronic system. The field for both races will be limited to the first 120 entrants. The entry fee will be $15 per runner for both the half marathon, which will take place at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, November 1o. More.

Jordan Jones Wins Men’s Competition In New York City Triathlon
A Colorado man and a Connecticut woman have run, swam and bicycled their way to victory in the annual triathlon that uses streets and waterways around Manhattan as a race course. Jordan Jones of Golden, Colo., won the men’s competition in the Aquaphor New York City Triathlon, swimming about a mile, biking almost 25 miles and running 6 miles in one hour, 45 minutes and four seconds.
