Jorgen Brink of Sweden set a course record in winning the 56-mile Vasaloppet cross-country ski marathon for the third straight year Sunday. Charity racer Pippa Middleton finished the women’s race in 412th place. More.

Russia’s Mayorova Wins Nagoya Women’s Marathon
Albina Mayorova of Russia pulled away from Yoshimi Ozaki with five kilometers left to beat a glamorous Japanese field, winning the Nagoya Women’s Marathon in 2 hours, 23 minutes and 52 seconds on Sunday. More.

Shuai Yang, Mamiko Win 7th Saipan Marathon
Saipan runner Mamiko Oshima-Berger led the winners in the annual event, reclaiming the women’s marathon title she lost for two straight years (2010 and 2011). Beijing’s Shuai Yang took the men’s crown, while former Olympian Eric Wainaina Wahinya of Kenya ruled the ultra marathon (50K). More.
