On Sunday, April 1, 18,500 people will sprint off from Green Park to the university, through the town and over the Kennet before passing under Abbey Gate and heading out to Prospect Park.
The grand finish will be at Madejski Stadium – and hopefully crossing the line will be Trevor Dart, from Thatcham, with daughters Nicole, 25, and Hannah, 27.
The Darts, from Windermere Way in Thatcham, have a very personal reason to be part of the Alzheimer’s Society team and to help the cause.
