Kenya, To Hold 5,000m And 10,000m Olympic Trials In United States
According to a report from the Daily Nation Web site, one of the world’s best distance-running nations, Kenya, will be holding its 5,000m and 10,000m Olympic Trials in the United States. The announcement was made byAthletics Kenya, the nation’s Olympic governing body. It stated that the Trials will be taking place in conjunction with the annual Prefontaine Classic meet on June 1 in Oregon. More.
Ann Arbor Marathon, A New Marathon planned for Michigan this year
The Michigan Daily reports the Ann Arbor City Council finalized plans for the Ann Arbor Marathon. The Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation will benefit from money raised by the June 17 event. The start is planned for outside Michigan Stadium. More.
