Portland Marathon adds Big Sur To Race Series
The Portland Marathon added the Big Sur International Marathon to its growing list of “Going the Distance” partner training events. The Portland Marathon plans to add several more events to their existing partnerships with the Big Sur Int’l Marathon, Eugene Marathon and Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon. More.

Mo Farah could be a notable absentee when Great Britain name their team for the upcoming World Indoor Championships in Istanbul next month. Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half-Marathon Registrations opened
Registration for the third running of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half-Marathon opened this week with much anticipation. Running enthusiasts registered for the Sunday, October 7, 2012 footrace from Mount Vernon, Va. to National Harbor, Md. The race is sanctioned by USA Track & Field and the 13.1-mile course is USATF certified. More.
Registration Fees For Valley Of The Lilies Half Marathon To Go Up By Mar. 1
Runners still have time to register for Western Carolina University’s Valley of the Lilies Half Marathon and 5-K at special low rates, but registration fees will go up Thursday, March 1. Online registration for the half marathon and 5-K is available at active.com. Fees are $40 for the half marathon and $20 for the 5-K through Wednesday, Feb. 29. More.

Vikash Malik and Rajiv Kumar Won IIM Rohtak’s Marathon ‘India for Girl Child’
Indian Institute of Management Rohtak successfully organized the marathon themed “India for Girl Child” on February 19th. The event elicited a great response, with more than 2000 participants.
