ING Miami Marathon And Half Marathon Entries Hit 25,000, Closing Registration Early

If you were waiting until this weekend to register for Sunday’s ING Miami Marathon and Half Marathon, it’s too late. Entries have hit the 25,000 ceiling, closing registration early for the first time in the event’s 10-year history.

But another marathon experience awaits from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The Nissan Health and Fitness Expo is free to the public and will serve as a prelude to the marathon and half marathon. The expo, geared for runners and non-runners alike, houses more than 130 booths and interactive areas for those interested in running, walking, health, nutrition and fitness.
