Brazen Racing is hosting its third annual Lake Chabot races on the mornings of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

This year’s race is a first of many. It is the first two-day marathon the company is holding around New Year’s. It includes the half marathons, 5K and 10K races.

Start times are 8:30 a.m. for the half marathon, 8:55 a.m. for the 10K and 9:05 a.m. for the 5K for both days.

Both the 5K and 10K New Year’s Eve races are already sold out with around 850 runners expected to participate. Eight spots are left for the half marathon. For those who wish to sign up the day of the race, the registration fee for the half marathon is $60.
