If you missed out on qualifying for the 2012 Boston marathon, or if you were not one of the fastest qualifiers (see the previous post), there is always 2013.
The 117th Boston Marathon will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013, and qualifying races achieved on or after Saturday, September 24, 2011 will be valid for 2013 Boston Marathon registration, according to the Boston Athletic Association.
Like the 2012 registration process, the acceptance of your registration will be based on qualifying time, with the fastest qualifiers being accepted first (in relation to their age and gender) until the race is full.
