Third edition of the Marg-GiveLife Chennai Half Marathon was won my Santosh Kumar of Maharashtra, who won the same event a couple of years back as well. In the women’s half marathon, it was Pampa Chanda of West Bengal who took the honours. About 5000 runners were expected to take part in the 21KM half marathon run, and many more in the other smaller distance events on the day.

Some of the top national runners who took part in the race were Anil Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Saji Mathew, Yugender, Preethi Rao, Rajeshwari Patil, and Pampa Chanda. The race was supported by stars like Dipika Pallikal, Joshna Chinnappa, R Vijayan and Dinesh Karthick.
