The third edition of Tamil Maiyam’s Chennai Marathon in aid of GiveLife Charity will be held on August 29.
As a cost-cutting measure, the international component has been trimmed out and this year’s event would be a national marathon, bringing runners from all over India. We expect the participation of more than a lakh people in the 7km open category titled I love Chennai Run and around 8,000 professional runners in the 21km half marathon.

Run Categories
There will be a total of 3 categories for the run,International Half Marathon Run (21.09 km),Great Chennai Run (7 km),Wheel Chair Run (500m),You may wish to be an Elite Runner and Choose either of the 2 Run categories namely International Half Marathon or Great Chennai Run and contribute to the cause.
Chennai Half Marathon 21.09 km
Men & Women open to all above 18 years – 21.09 km
Register for Rs 100/-
Great Chennai Run – 7 km
Men & Women open to all above 14 years – 7 Km
Registration Free
* If Bib number & Certificate are required, then Register for Rs 100/-
Wheel Chair Run – 500 meter
Differently abled for wheel chair participants – 500 meter
