It was a day of new course records at the Prague International Marathon with new records being set in both the men’s and women’s marathon. Eliud Kiptanui of Kenya won the race in a super 02:05:39 which countrywoman Helena Loshanyang Kirop won the women’s race in 02:25:29. In fact, all the top 3 finishers in the men’s marathon broke the existing course record.
