I registered on the first day of Novice registrations at Comrades Marathon 2010, i.e. Nov 1st, and later got the shock of my life on learning that registrations closed on Nov 2nd as all 5,000 novice places were taken within 27 hours! Taking it a little easy, and I would have blown my chances.Earlier 15,000 previous runners of Comrades had already registered for the next years run, which now takes the total number of registrations to 20,000, the second highest Comrades entry count after the special year 2000 registrations of 25,000 runners.

So, next is now training for the Mumbai marathon to beat the qualifying time of 5:00 hours.
