In an exciting finish at the 11th JoongAng Seoul Marathon, it came down to the wire between Francis Larabal of Kenya and his fellow countryman David Mandago. In the final stretch, Larabal overtook David Mandago to win the first international race of his career with a time of 2 hours and 9 minutes flat, providing for one of the most memorable finishes in the race’s history.

In the women’s event, Lee Sun-young of Andong City won with a time of 2 hours, 34 minutes and 22 seconds to claim her back-to-back title at the JoongAng Seoul Marathon.
