Now that Usain Bolt has done what only he was capable of doing, setting the 100 meter world record of 9:58 in Berlin Athletics World Championships, I had to put the video of the world record on my blog, not just for blog readers, but for me, as a key historical event in athletics, and making it a part of my blog for all times to come. Enjoy the Bolt.

To read a very interesting technical article on Usain Bolt’s world record, head to The Science of Sport blog by Ross Tucker and Jonathan Dugas, who analyze every bit of his run, which also includes a head to head comparison with the Beijing Olympics world record of 9:69.
