Running and Living is organizing the first edition of the Shimla Half Marathon on Sunday, Oct 4th. What makes it even better is that it is a long weekend on account of Oct 2nd being the national holiday, so great time to spend with your family, and enjoy a great half marathon in the hills. I am really looking forward to being there!

@Rahul: Probably not, since I will be pretty busy on Oct 4th right here, as much as I would have loved to. Lets hope that Chicago has some good weather for a change this year!
WOW! this is a surprise. I am a native of Shimla and spent my youth there, my parents still have a place there. Would love to be in this run, unfortunately can't make it this year, have to run Chicago Marathon the following weekend. The course for Shimla half Marathon is pretty tough. Tanvir, are you running this one? I wish Rahul Verghse had given us some more notice.
