Do you know if this was also the fastest half marathon ever run in India?
@sanjay: this was the fastest half marathon run anywhere in the world this year. And I have little doubt that this would have been the fastest in India. Sub 1:00 min times are hard to come by, and there are not too many half marathons in India besides the ADHM, so surely yes.
thanks tanvir for the timing chip results link..
you very passionate about running.
Good to see your blog. Keep it up, you are making great improvement. Way to go!!!
I hope next time I am in Delhi to run half marathon.

@Neeraj: Thanks. Looking forward to you beeing there at the 2009 Delhi half. BTW, You got a great 5K time there, keep the hard running going! How was the Houston experience?
Tanvir: I am about to begin my training for next marathon with the aim of qualifying for Boston. I would love to run either half-full in India.
I will visit Noida/Gurgaon/Delhi region when I come to India. Would love to meet a fellow runner and may be do an easy long run together
How often 5k/10k are organized in Delhi/Gurgaon/Noida region?
Your website is amazing. Keep the good work going. Hopefully it will inspire many others to take running as hobby.
@Neeraj: 5K/10 runs are mostly organized by runningandliving.com. You can check their calendar for upcoming runs (and get added on their mailing list), they generally happen about once a month. Do contact me whenever you are coming, we will do a run in Nehru park or Lodhi garden, both nice places. When are you thinking of coming?
