My coverage in The Telegraph, Calcutta!

February 17, 2006

Chitra Narayanan, a reported with The Telegraph, Calcutta was looking for some amateur runners to interview for an article on the Delhi International marathon (Feb 12th, 2006) and somehow managed to find my running blog. An email interview followed, and some of it made it to the Telegraph article, published on Feb 11th, 2006. The complete article can be referenced at the Telegraph website.

A snapshot of the article has been attached below.

Pravin,

No, personally, I have’nt experimented with any such stuff, the most I have done is use Gatorade for running. You are right, the quality of expos sucks, it is more like a Mela that an Expo.

Sangita,

The 7KM celebrity run is open for all, just register and run. As for the preparation, here is a good link, try it (though it is for 8KM :) .

have you guys tried stuff like garmin or fitsense fs1 to monitor your training?

is anyone doing a HRM based training?

I have a fitsense and it was fun to use it…havent run in a while so I know i have no right to comment on how good it is.it is available only in the USA though

other option is the polar hrm
costs about 170 Singapore dollars bucks..
i wish our marathon expos sold stuff like this instead of jewelry and papdi chat!
